ABOUT ME

Rachel McCall

I am a psychotherapist and counsellor, passionate about supporting adults and adolescents through a range of life’s challenges, whether it be those who are wanting to make change in their lives; address anxiety or depression; cope with grief and loss; find a way through life transitions; or come to terms with a sense of self or identity. SERVICES

Performance and The Arts

Having worked for over 20 years as a professional vocalist, I care about the experience of performance anxiety and mental health issues associated with working in the performing arts. As well as providing individual therapy, I collaborate with Rosie Hosking (Estill Master Trainer and vocal coach) and Eleanor Brasted (Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist) to deliver ‘The Integrated Voice’ workshops focusing on the integration of vocal and mental health. Contact me at rachelmccalltherapy@gmail.com if you would like to discuss tailoring a workshop for a group of professional or passionate voice users.

SERVICES

NDIS Participants

I provide therapeutic intervention and counselling for clients with NDIS funding, at the recommended NDIS rate for a Counsellor (i.e. no gap payment). Offering an individually tailored, holistic approach, my work with NDIS clients includes focusing upon acknowledging challenges; finding helpful coping strategies to manage distress and regulate emotions; processing grief or loss; discovering a stronger sense of self and identity; developing self-compassion. I offer home visits for appointments, as well as seeing people in our comfortable and welcoming office space. I also offer appointments via telehealth if that suits people’s needs.
